Little Blooms Montessori Prechool - Montessori Classroom with Learning Materials - Sandy,

Our Year at a Glance

Life at Little Blooms is full of celebration, discovery, and community. Here's a peek at what our families look forward to each year:

September

The school year begins with our beloved Back to School Night — a chance for families to meet teachers, explore the classroom, and kick off the year together as a community. New friendships bloom and little learners settle into their Montessori rhythm.

October

October brings two of our favorite traditions — our Halloween Party where children come dressed in their favorite costumes, and a visit to our local Fire Station 31 where children get an up-close look at fire trucks, meet our community heroes, and learn about safety in the real world.

November

We gather together for our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon — a heartwarming celebration of gratitude, community, and the joy of sharing a meal together. Families are invited to join us for this special tradition.

December

December is filled with seasonal art, music, practical life activities, and cozy classroom celebrations as we explore winter traditions from cultures around the world. The month closes with Winter Break.

January

A new semester begins with fresh energy and renewed curiosity. Children return from break ready to dive deeper into their Montessori work. Registration opens for returning families and new families eager to join the Little Blooms community.

February

Our Valentine's Day Party is one of the most anticipated events of the year — children celebrate friendship, kindness, and connection through handmade valentines, treats, and classroom fun.

March

Spring is in the air and so is the excitement of watching how much our Little Blooms children have grown. Parent Teacher Conferences give families a chance to celebrate their child's remarkable progress and set intentions for the final stretch of the school year.

April

After Spring Break we return refreshed and ready for outdoor exploration, spring-themed Montessori works, and the beautiful energy that comes with longer days and warmer weather.

May

May is our most celebratory month of the year. We honor our incredible teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week and close the school year with our beloved Graduation Tea Ceremony — a beautiful, meaningful tradition that celebrates every child's growth and sends our kindergarten-bound graduates off with love, pride, and excitement for what comes next.

Every month our little learners pack their curiosity and head out into the greater Salt Lake valley — exploring new places, meeting their community, and discovering that learning truly happens everywhere.
