A program built around your child
Little Blooms is a MAC-TE certified Montessori Early Childhood program for children ages 3–6, combining hands-on Montessori education with Spanish Dual Language Immersion in a warm, home-based setting in Sandy, Utah.
Our Programs
Ages 3 - 4
Early Bloomers
Children entering the Montessori environment for the first time discover the joy of independence. Through practical life activities, sensorial exploration, and beginning Spanish immersion, they build confidence and curiosity from day one.

Ages 4 - 5

Growing Minds
Children deepen their Montessori work across language arts, mathematics, zoology, botany, geography, and cultural studies — all while continuing to absorb Spanish naturally throughout every part of the school day.
Ages 5 - 6
The Blossoms
In their final year before kindergarten, children demonstrate remarkable independence, bilingual confidence, and academic readiness. Little Blooms graduates enter kindergarten with something priceless — a love of learning already rooted inside them.

The Rhythm of Our Day
Every day at Little Blooms is intentional, joyful, and designed around your child. Structure and routine give children the security to explore freely.
Arrival & Welcome
Families arrive and children settle into the prepared environment. Each morning begins with a warm greeting — in both English and Spanish.
Morning Work Circle
Children choose their own Montessori activities — working independently or in small groups with language arts, math, sensorial materials, practical life, and more.
Morning Snack
A healthy snack break where children practice practical life skills — setting up, serving, and cleaning up independently.
Lunch
Children enjoy lunch together, practicing grace and courtesy in a calm, social setting.
Outdoor Play
Fresh air, physical movement, and unstructured exploration. Children connect with nature and each other.
Afternoon Work Cycle
A second focused work period — quieter and more reflective, including reading time and continued Montessori work.
School Day Pickup
School day families are picked up. Full/Work day children continue with enrichment activities until 5:00pm.
End of Day
Children are warmly released to their families. Daily updates and photos are shared through the Little Blooms app so parents stay connected throughout the day.

Monthly Field Trips
Each month our students explore the greater Salt Lake valley through educational community field trips. Our destinations are intentionally chosen to complement and bring to life that month's area of study — connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences in a way that makes knowledge truly meaningful for young children.
Past destinations have included:
-
Thanksgiving Point — Exploring natural history, dinosaurs, and the wonders of the earth — connecting to our science and zoology studies
-
Tracy Aviary — Discovering birds from around the world and connecting with the natural living environment — complementing our zoology and botany curriculum
-
Red Butte Gardens and Arboretum — Exploring plant life, outdoor spaces, and the beauty of the natural world — a perfect extension of our botany studies
-
Natural History Museum of Utah — Discovering Utah's geological and cultural history through interactive exhibits — connecting to our geography and cultural studies curriculum
-
Khadeeja Islamic Center — Exploring cultural diversity and community spaces — bringing our cultural studies curriculum to life and fostering respect and understanding for all people
Field trips are one of the many ways Little Blooms ensures that learning never stays confined to four walls. The world is our classroom — and we take that literally.
